RICE

Rice is one of the most extensively consumed and popular staple foods. It is widely consumed in Asia and Africa and is the third-most-produced agricultural product in the world. In regions such as the tropics, however, it can thrive as a perennial crop.

RICE VARIETIES WE EXPORT

There are around 40,000 different types of rice in the globe. In general, we export two types of rice: Basmati and Non-Basmati. There are several variants within these two basic classes.

BASMATI RICE

Basmati rice is one of the most common rice kinds in India. It is renowned for its long, slender grains and wonderful scent. Basmati rice is renowned worldwide for its distinctive flavour. It works best in biryani, fried rice, pilaf, and other popular rice recipes. India is one of the largest exporters of basmati rice.

1121 BASMATI RICE -WHITE

Pusa Basmati 1121 is a variation with Basmati rice quality characteristics inherited from Basmati 370 and Type 3 among other historic Basmati types. This species is essentially the result of hybridization. In 2003, commercial cultivation of 1121 Basmati Rice began. It has extra-long, slender milled grains, a nice scent, volume expansion of more than four times, an appealing flavour, a pleasant texture, and is easily digestible.

TRADITIONAL BASMATI RICE

There are multiple varieties of basmati rice. Traditional varieties of basmati include 370, 385, and Ranbirsinghpura. Traditional Basmati Rice is available both cooked and uncooked. It is utilised in Continental, Indian, Mughlai, and Chinese cooking.

GOLDEN SELLA BASMATI RICE

Rice that has been parboiled maintains more of its inherent vitamins and minerals. The method ensures that cooked grains will be firm. Cholesterol-free and gluten-free, parboiled rice. Furthermore, it is low in sodium and saturated fat. Complex carbohydrates found in rice give the body with energy.

SUGANDHA BASMATI RICE

Sugandha Basmati Rice is one of India’s most affordable long-grain basmati rices. It is mostly grown in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and such other Indian states. Sugandha Basmati Rice has an exquisite aroma and is non-sticky. It is often slightly shorter than Basmati 1509 and Basmati 1121. If cooked properly, it can grow up to twice as long as it originally was.

SHARBATI BASMATI RICE

Sharbati Basmati Rice is a hybrid variety of Traditional Basmati Rice that lacks a distinct scent. Sharbati Basmati Rice is prepared similarly to Basmati Rice. About 14-15 mm in length. Its rice grains are approximately 7.1-2.2 mm long.

NON-BASMATI RICE

All rice kinds other than basmati are referred to as non-basmati rice. Non-basmati rice contains rice of many sizes, shapes, and variations. Some varieties of rice are long and thin, while others are short and broad. Non-Basmati Rice is consumed everyday in homes and also exported for business purposes.

PARBOILED RICE

Rice that has been partially boiled in the husk is parboiled rice. It is essentially similar to cooking rice. The parboiling procedure involves soaking, steaming, and drying. These procedures facilitate rice processing by hand. Additionally, parboiling improves its nutritional value, alters its texture, and makes it more resistant to weevils.

BROKEN RICE

First, despite the fact that this kind is termed broken rice, there is nothing wrong with it. It is just as nutritious as any other type of rice. Fragments of rice grains that were broken in the field, during drying, transport, or processing. The use of mechanical separators to separate broken grains from whole grains and sort them by size.

SWARNA RICE

Swarna is one of the healthiest options for rice. Due to its low glycemic index, the risk of developing diabetes is relatively minimal. Swara rice is widely cultivated in India.

SONA MASOORI RICE

The Indian states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka are major producers of the Sona masuri variety of medium-grain rice. Sona Masuri means “golden ivy” in Japanese. It is fragrant and light-weight. This premium rice variety is sold mostly to the United States, Canada, Europe, Malaysia, and Middle Eastern nations including Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
